Jerry M Bookkeeping ("we," "us," "our"), based in Horizon City, Texas, provides bookkeeping services. This page explains how we handle the information you share with us.
We use your information only to perform the bookkeeping services you've engaged us for, communicate with you about your account, and meet basic recordkeeping and invoicing needs. We do not sell your data.
As a small, one-person practice, we use reasonable safeguards scaled to our size — including working through established, reputable platforms (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace) and limiting access to your records to ourselves. We are continuing to build out formal security practices as the business grows, and we do not guarantee a specific security standard.
We use standard business software to deliver services, such as QuickBooks Online (accounting), Google Workspace (email/files), Calendly (scheduling), Zoom (calls), and a payment processor for billing. These providers only access what's needed to perform their function.
We keep client records for the length of our engagement and for a reasonable period after, to meet basic business and tax recordkeeping needs. When records are no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or dispose of them.
You can ask us to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to any recordkeeping obligations we may have. Contact: jerry@jerrymbookkeeping.com
We may update this page as our practices or the business changes. The date above reflects the latest update.
We provide bank reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting, as agreed in writing with each client.
We are not a CPA firm, Enrolled Agent, or law practice. We do not provide tax preparation, payroll processing, audits, legal advice, or financial/investment advisory services. Consult a licensed CPA, Enrolled Agent, or attorney for those needs.
You agree to provide accurate and timely financial records. We're not responsible for errors, penalties, or misstatements caused by inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.
Fees are billed per your service agreement, in advance. Invoices are due on receipt. Non-payment may result in suspension of services.
Either party may end services with 30 days' written notice. Fees for partial months are non-refundable.
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for business decisions made using our reports, or for indirect or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by Texas law. Disputes are handled in El Paso County, Texas.
